Real Madrid’s first-team midfielder, Aurélien Tchouameni, admitted that his compatriot, Kylian Mbappe, tried to incite him against moving to the Royal Club in Mercato last summer
Tchouameni moved to Real Madrid from Monaco, while Mbappe preferred to renew with Paris Saint-Germain, despite the agreement with the Spanish team to join for free before signing his current contract until June 2025
Tchouameni spoke about the matter during his interview with the French newspaper L’Equipe, and said: “Mbappe called me, he wanted to know what I was planning
He continued, “He told me, come on, you have to come to Paris Saint-Germain, but I had chosen Real Madrid a long time ago
And about his feeling of pressure at Real Madrid, the Frenchman replied: “No, I am not, I grew up to bear it, this is my destiny, this means that I worked hard until I got here
And he concluded his remarks: “Now, my goal is to participate mainly with Real Madrid, and not to be just a spectator from the bench
